Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before registering, donating, or using NGO Desk.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of NGO Desk and the underlying Donation Management System (DMS) (together, the "Platform") — the donation management platform that connects registered NGOs with donors and helps NGOs manage their donors, donations, campaigns, and beneficiaries. By registering an NGO, registering as a donor, submitting a donation, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Quick answers
- Are donations refundable? No — donations, sponsorship payments, and NGO subscription fees are final once paid, regardless of payment method. See Refund policy.
- Can I cancel my NGO's subscription? Yes, at any time — but fees already paid are non-refundable and access ends when your current period expires. See NGO subscription fees.
- What does NGO Desk verify before approving an NGO or donor? NGOs are reviewed before activation; donors provide a national ID (CNIC or equivalent) for sponsorship verification. See Verification & KYC.
- Who owns campaign content NGOs upload? NGOs retain ownership; NGO Desk is granted a license to display it while the campaign runs. See Intellectual property.

01 Definitions
"NGO" means a charitable organization registered on the NGO Desk platform. "Donor" means an individual who registers to give or pledge donations through the Platform. "You" refers to whichever of these applies to your use of the Platform. "We", "us", and "our" refer to the Platform operator.
02 Accounts & eligibility
NGOs must provide accurate organizational details, a valid contact email, and a responsible administrator when registering. Donors must provide accurate personal details and a valid form of identification where requested. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. New NGO accounts remain inactive until reviewed and approved; new donor registrations remain pending until verified by the NGO they registered with.
03 Donations & payments
Donations may be made by manual bank transfer or mobile wallet (JazzCash, Easypaisa, and similar) with an uploaded payment proof, or — where enabled — by card through our payment processor for local and international card payments. Amounts, currencies, and payment methods are recorded as submitted by the donor or entered by NGO staff. Monthly sponsorship "commitments" are good-faith pledges: you may stop future payments at any time by contacting the NGO you support, but this does not affect amounts already paid.
Funds donated through the Platform are intended for the NGO and cause you selected. NGOs — not the Platform — are responsible for the use, allocation, and reporting of donated funds to their beneficiaries and programs.
04 Refund policy
Once a donation, sponsorship payment, or NGO subscription/package fee has been paid — whether by bank transfer, mobile wallet, or card — it cannot be refunded or reversed through the Platform, regardless of payment method. Please review your donation amount, recipient NGO, and package selection carefully before paying. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us via the Inquiry page within 7 days and we will review it at our discretion, but a refund is not guaranteed.
05 NGO subscription fees
NGOs access the DMS under a paid package (Monthly, 6-month, or Annual, as described on our Pricing page). Package fees are charged for the period selected and, as above, are non-refundable once paid — including if you choose to stop using the Platform before the period ends. Access is suspended if a package is not renewed before it expires.
06 Verification & KYC
To help NGOs confirm the identity of new donors, our public donor registration form requests a CNIC (or equivalent national ID) number and a copy of the ID document, along with proof of the first payment. This information is shared only with the NGO the donor registered with and is used solely for verification purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
07 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform to submit false organizational or identity information, impersonate another person or organization, upload fraudulent payment proofs, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation or other users' accounts.
08 Intellectual property
The Platform's design, software, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. NGOs retain ownership of the content and images they upload (campaign photos, logos, descriptions) and grant us a license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of running their campaigns and public profile.
09 Liability & disclaimers
The Platform is provided as a record-keeping and donor-management tool "as is." We facilitate the connection between donors and NGOs and, where enabled, the processing of card payments through a third-party payment processor — we do not independently verify how an NGO ultimately uses donated funds. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.
10 Suspension & termination
We may suspend or deactivate an NGO or donor account that violates these Terms, provides fraudulent information, or does not renew an expired subscription. You may stop using the Platform at any time; this does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.
11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the law applicable to you.
12 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
